Shokrian Vineyard, Santa Barbara County AVALos Alamos, California

Shokrian Vineyard, previously known as “Verna’s” is a 100-acre ranch with approximately 52 acres planted to Pinot Noir and Syrah. Located in Los Alamos Valley, this vineyard is constrained by the Solomon Hills to the north and the La Purisima Hills to the south, which creates a very unique temperate climate in comparison to the surrounding valleys.

Farming practices are an incredibly important part of this vineyard with a focus on sustainability through the use of organic and biodynamic methods. With warm days and very cold nights, the fruit from this vineyard achieves incredible concentration and balance.
